What treaments do I offer?
Brand new to clinic: Profhilo Structura!
Profhilo Structura is a new product that renews and restores your fat pads in your face. As you age the fat pads in your face give your skin that youthful appearance and as you age your fats pads thin out causing your face to either sink downwards or sag inwards, causing jowls to appear or lower face hollows to appear. Structura places Hyaluronic Acid at a high dose into these fat pads to replace that lost fatty tissue and gives a lifting and tightening effect. It is a simple procedure to administer with only one needle entry point in each side of your face. Structura not only replaces lost facial volume but also helps to stimulate the fat cells to regenerate, so helping your facial fat pads, essential for a more youthful plumpness.
The protocol is two treatments 4 weeks apart, then we can review the results at 4 months, as this keeps on working.
There is no downtime with this treatment and is ideal for people who are after a natural result.
Skin Boosters
Skin booster are injectable moisturisers, usually containing Hyaluronic Acid that can help diminish fine lines, but the main benefits are skin hydration, improving skin quality. From the age of 30+ this skin's own Hyaluronic Acid begins to reduce. And the is a great option to given the skin that 'glow', which is much sought after currently. Skin boosters also stimulate new collagen and elastin in the skin, which helps to renew and strengthen ageing skin.
Skin boosterboosters are a particular area of interest for me and I like to offer a wide variety of boosters to suit all budgets.
I do love a skin booster! Profhilo is perfect for more mature skin, as is Revok50. Seventy Hyal 2000 and Infini Aquabooster are fabulous for younger skin to give that social media glow.

Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are injectable treatments that can help the body stimulate new collagen and elastin formation, thus helping the body strengthen and repairing the skin. Can be used for crepiness of the skin, scars, hair thinning, under the eye area to improve the quality of the skin. Polynucleotides are highly purified Salmon or Trout DNA. Polynucleotides can be used alongside Skin Boosters to give that refreshed and renewed look, for people who don't want to structurally alter their look.

Polynuceotides are great to renew tired skin. Although you need to give them time to work and do their magic. Polynucleotides also work great with microneedling, Juliette Armand Ameson PDRN is perfect for renewal.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are used to replace the lost volume in the face that happens with advancing years. As we age, the fat pads in our face, that are responsible for our youthful plumpness, diminish. As we age, this leads to more lax and ‘saggy’ skin. I offer a variety of dermal filler treatment such as lips, cheeks, jaw, chin, marionette lines and nasolabial folds to restore this lost volume . I currently use the Teoxane, Stylage and infini line of dermal fillers.
I will not overill lips. Period. Overfilled lips could possilby lead to a vascular occlusion, which may mean the filler has been injected in to a blood vessel and has blocked off the blood supply to an area of the face. This can potentially lead to skin death and corrective plastic surgery.

Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a treatment used to deliver substances such as vitamins, hyaluronic acid etc. superficially under the skin in tiny injections. This process involves many small injections under areas of the face, hands, neck, décolletage etc. Some skin boosters are designed to be given via this technique and Polynucleotides can be administered this was also. Infini, the italian filler range have a great premium meso range. A great example of a meso treatment is Infini's Meso BTX which contains Argireline, which contains Hexapeptide-8. Hexapiptide-8 is a peptide that, in studies, has shown to lengthen the duration of toxin, leading to less frequent toxin administration and saving you money in the long run.

Microneedling and Chemical Peels
Microneedling, similar idea to using a hand held Dermaroller, Is carried out with an electronic device that makes lots of microchannels in the skin and this damage helps the skin produce new collagen, which is essential for skin renewal, repair and strength. Microneedling can be booked along with chemical peels. Microneedling can be used with mesotherapy treatments that can lift, renew and rejuvanate the complexion. Juliette Armand Ameson is a professional and comprehensive MesoTech range of microneedling serums to help with skin brightening, ageing, uneven skin tone, skin tightening and they have newly launched their Polynucleotide PDRN microneedling serum, promoting skin renewal and regeneration. This can be used in conjunction with Juliet Armand Ameson PRDN Polynucleotide cream and serum - also available fro clinic.
Chemical peels use acid products to remove dead skin and promote cell growth and renewal, they can help with acne, rosacea, dry skin and oily skin.
Chemical peels are safe if carried out using strict protocols.

Innoaesthetics Inno-Exfo have specific peels to address specific conserns such as photoageing, uneven skin tone, skin redness, acne prone skin, dry skin, ageing skin, skin brightening etc. They have minimal down time, which is important if you are out and about and have a busy life.
Juliette Armand Ameson Mesopeel skin peels can be used as single peels or layered peels depending on the specific needs and specific skin concerns. These peels can be combined with microneedling to help the skin produce new collagen and elastin and help fight the signs of ageing.
Who am I?
I
My name is Martin. I have been working in the NHS since 1995 and starting my nurse education in 1996 at Glasgow Caledonian University. I graduated with a Diploma of Higher Education in Nursing in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies. I undertook further master's level eduction at University of Glasgow, completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Health care with specialisation in cancer care and a Specialist Practitioner Qualification (adult). In 2015, I completed the Independent Nurse Prescribing course, and completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Advancing Practice at the University of The West of Scotland.
Having moved into aesthetics I have trained in botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, skin boosterboosters, polynucleotides and mesotherapy.
